Photo Restoration Services

Photo restoration is where a photograph; usually damaged or stained, needs carefully enhancing to restore the integrity of the original image.

If done right, we don't just restore the image, but also the memories attached to that moment in time.

The following corrective services are available:

  • Removal of Folds, Tears and Stains.
  • Recolouring of Sepia or Black and White images.
  • Clarity of image improvements.
  • Adding or removing objects in a photo.
  • Lens correction, distortion, Vignetting removal, Chromatic Abberation (fringing) removal.
  • Image upscaling.
  • Astrophotography methods.

Once the image has been restored, it can be returned to you Digitally on-line in a number of different image formats, or physically by post as reprinted Photographs.

Please note: I will let you know if a photo can't be restored.

There are two methods of Printing Available:

  • As 6x4 Inch photo sized prints (multiple photographs)
  • Or one-off reprints up to and including A4 size (a single photo).
    (All printing is done on Premium Glossy Photo paper at maximum quality.)

Can you return the photos Digitally (not as prints)?

  • Yes, photos can be returned digitally in well known file formats such as PNG, Jpeg, and can be packed in a Zip file... please request a format, or quality Jpeg will be chosen by default.

What will you do with my photographs?

During the process, your photographs (if physical) will be scanned, then returned to you. Once (or if) the photos are digital, they will be placed on an SSD drive in a secure off-line folder while the restoration work is done. The image(s) are then deleted 1 month after you receive the restored photos back.

Can you print mobile phone photos?

Yes, you can send the images to me on-line in a zip folder, or loose in the jpeg or png format.
Note: Image detail depends on the quality of the photograph.
